Within this page is a demonstration process from discovery phase to shipped product. Using basic tools like Google Docs and Draw.io to keep parties and stakeholders informed about an idea pitch to completion helped detail the creative process I helped lead and take part in. Documents displayed here have been created by me.
Step 1: Vision Brief
Below is the vision brief in a downloadable PDF used to explain intent and concept of an idea to stakeholders.
Step 2: Quest Flow
Below is an example of the final quest flow chart used to develop user flow from a high level and a reference document for QA hand off.

Step 3: Implementation
Star Stable uses a proprietary engine that requires unique scripting to develop quest events, controllers, and triggers. Below are a few example images of the process used to implement and complete a testable scenario.
Step 4: Iteration
Step four is not quite as easy to document as the other steps. A series of processes were taking during this time to get feedback from playtesters from a variety of disciplines and bug reports to develop a more polished version of the final draft of the initial proposal.
During the process, a series of progress videos were sent out to the entire team at the end of the day for feedback and bug reports on anything that was not included in the “Known Issues” list. This helped speed up the feedback loop and provide visibility of progress to everyone on the team.
Step 5: Release
The following video is a final development video of the fully implemented and QA certified release of the proposed content.
